Reservoirs of feelings
Hidden hurts
Deepest fears
Held at bay
Protected
Disguised from the surrounding world
Shielding
Prepared to withstand daggers and spears
Shattered dreams
Betrayals
Assaults to the heart
Soul searing pain
Despair drowns love
Yet without love
There is no meaning to living.
